Dear parents, a way to not abuse text books is to use cello-tapes on the wrapper itself, avoiding the inside cover area. The next parent who will get the books might be someone who appreciate books so much that she hated to see cello-tapes residue. She might be having tough time to peel the cello-tapes out without tearing the inside cover even when she is a very neat and careful person.
And please, do not staple the cover to the books. You are hurting the books.
